Sony has released some news about Final Fantasy 14 (their upcoming MMO) .  Looks like Beta invites started as of March 1st so be looking for your invites soon…pick me, pick me!  No word yet on when closed beta kicks off.  The community site is scheduled for March 11th.

Final Fantasy 11 will under go some changes as well from class re-balance to lifting the level cap to 99.  They will also be cutting their number of servers in half and merging players to new servers.  Honestly last time I played the server population was very sparse so this should help fill out the current serves and boost the economy some.  The cap to 99 doesn’t interest me as the grind is incredibly slow.

I soooo hope I get into closed beta.
